we offer you so you will need to decide which engraving process
is the best for you.
It's Easy to Order - Here's How To Order
Step 1 - Determine Which Engraving Process Is Best For Your Needs
Our prices include FREE engraving!! Two lines of text are FREE for Satin Etching and One line of text or a Monogram Styles is FREE for Hand Engraving so you will need to read about the 2 different engraving processes we offer to determine which is the best one for your engraving needs. Hand Engraving is best for engraving monogrammed initials or up to 3 lines of text (limited to block shape letters), also offers a deeper, cleaner cut to the engraving. If you don't want to engrave text than you have the choice of a Hand Engraved Design Styles there are 16 to choose from. The combination of an engraved design style and an engraved monogram style or text is an additional charge listed on the order pages. Satin Etching is best for duplicating a custom image or logo, engraving Script type font styles, multiple lines of text with hundreds of fonts styles to choose from, 23 from the order pages drop down menu. Satin Etching (Sandblasting) is also deep etched and leaves a whitish color to the engraved area.
Step 2 - Choose The Correct Order Page For The Engraving Process
Use the left sidebar links to navigate to all the product pages on the web site. On all GLASSWARE product pages, under each item there are 2 links which will navigate you to the pricing information and order pages for each of the 2 Engraving Processes, the top link is to the Hand Engraving order pages and the bottom link is to the Satin Etching order pages which has the letters SE in the item number. Pricing is the same for either the Hand Engraving Process or the Satin Etching Engraving Process... the main difference is the amount of engraving included in pricing and in the engraving options such as the monogram styles or font styles.
Step 3 - Enter Quantity, Select Options, Enter Engraving Information
(A) Enter your total quantity in the quantity box so you get your appropriate pricing discount... You may have different Engraving (names or initials) on each piece at no extra charge so make sure to enter your total quantity for each item.
(B) Next, choose letter style... the order page for each engraving process will have different options for the letter styles you can choose from, Monogram Styles for Hand Engraving and Font Styles for Satin Etching. You will need to select your Monogram style or Font style from the drop down menu.
(C) Enter your Engraving Information... the Engraving Information text box is in email format where you can explain in detail your engraving information. If engraving names or initials you can list them in order separated by a comma or hitting the enter key to drop down a line. To see examples on how to enter names, initials and multi lines of text click here to view examples. You should also view the F.A.Q. Tab from the menu bar at top of every page for more ordering questions. If you are engraving a logo image you must enter the file name which you are emailing for uploading in the engraving information text box along with any addition text you would like to have added. If your engraving is detailed you should enter any files names you would be emailing and also add to see email for instruction.
Step 4 - If adding Additional Engraving Check Appropriate Box
Hand Engraving - If engraving more than 1 line of text or a design style with a monogram style for Hand Engraving extra engraving fees will apply. Extra engraving charges apply for adding a 2nd or 3rd line of text and also if adding a hand engraved Design Style with the combination of a Monogram Styles or a name. Satin Etching - If Engraving more then 2 lines of text, a logo image with additional text or text with a hand engraved Design Style then extra engraving fees will apply and you will need to make sure you check the appropriate box for adding extra engraving. The extra engraving chargers are listed on each of the Hand Engraving order page and the Satin Etching order pages, also in detail on each of the engraving processes information pages.
Step 5 - Click the Buy Now Button
You are almost finished... click the Buy Now button which you will be directed into the secure shopping cart system of the web site, enter your zip code and click Continue button. This page will allow you to view your items in the cart and all shipping options with cost, you will not be abe to select your shipping method at this time. If everything looks correct click the Send Order Secure button. This will bring you into the customer information page where you need to enter all your billing information. Once completed click the Send Order Now button where you will now be ask to select your shipping option. The cart will default to UPS ground for your shipping method if none is selected.
Step 6 - If Engraving Custom Art Work - Email Us Your Art Work or Image File
Our preferred method of receiving your art work is via email attachment of your image file. Our preferred file type is EPS, JPEG, TIFF, PDF or Bitmap with a minimum file size of at least 200kb in size. Your Image file should be in solid black and white, 2 color pallet with NO gray scale. The file size will determine image quality and reduce the loss of detail to your image. We are only as good as the quality of the art work you provide for us to work with.
Carborundum Wheel Engraving (Hand Engraving)
This method of glass engraving is considered a lost art form today with each engraved piece truly unique and different. Carborundum wheel engraving offers a distinctive look. Every cut is deep etched by hand with precession into the glass creating detail and sharpness that offers a much cleaner look to the finished piece opposed to the sandblasting. Satin Etching (Sandblasting)
Sandblasting is a popular method of engraving, this process offers unlimited possibilities and is perfect for accurately reproducing your logo, create or custom art work, where a stencil is created duplicating your art work or logo design. This engraving process offers a deep etching with a frosted look to the etched area, whitish in color and stands out. Also perfect for etching multi lines of text and sizing small text to fit small engraving areas.
