PLEASE NOTE THE PROPER LETTER PLACMENT FOR EACH MONOGRAM STYLE.
WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER THE LETTERS MUST BE PLACED
IN THE ORDER FOR THE MONOGRAM STYLE YOU ARE CHOOSING.

Hand engraving offers you a choice of thickness to each cut of the letters...we use various size cutting wheels which have different thicknesses to each cutting wheel which gives the engraved letters a diffierent boldness. If you have a preference in the boldness of your initials or name being engraved you can request a certain size cutting wheel to be used.

                                     Suggested Size Cutting Wheels

Small Wheel; Approximate 1/16" in thickness, used for names & dates on toasting sets
                  & smaller pieces or adding a date or 2nd line of text, changing font size.
Med. Wheel; Approximate 1/8" in thickness, used for all names (styles #9 - #16) on
                   all items and also if adding a date on 2 line.
Large Wheel; Approximate 3/8" to 1/4" thickness, used for all 3 letter monograms
                   (style #1 - #6) on all items except large sized items. Also used for 3 letter
                   Old English initals in monogram style #2.
X-Large Wheel; Approximate 5/16" thickness, used for Old English single letters (style #7
                   and #8) on all items. Also used for 3 letter monograms on larger items.

You may request any size cutting wheel when placing your order by entering in the engraving information text box along with your engraving information requesting to use a particular size cutting wheel for your engraved intials or names otherwise we will use the suggest size cutting wheels to engrave your order.

For Initials use #1 through #8 - For Names use #9 through #16

Style #1 - Classic       The proper initial placement for a single person or married couple. For a single person the first name initial would be first, the last name initial would be center and the middle name initial would be last. For a married couple - The women's first name initial would be first, the married last name initial would be in the middle, the man's first name initial would be last. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #2 - Straight Across       Letters all the same Height. The proper initial placement for a single individual. First name initial, middle name initial and last name initial. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #3 - Angled       Letters all the same height. The proper initial placement for a single individual. First name initial, middle name initial and last name initial. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #4 - Diamond Shape       The proper initial placement for a single person or married couple. For a single person the first name initial would be first, the last name initial would be center and the middle name initial would be last. For a married couple - The women's first name initial would be first, the married last name initial would be in the middle, the man's first name initial would be last. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass.

Style #5 - Tall       The proper initial placement for a single individual or married couple. For a single person the first name initial on top, middle name initial on bottom, last name initial last and larger. For a married couple - The women's first name initial would be top, the man's first name initial would be under the women's, on bottom. the married last name initial would be in the largest on right, When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #6 - Staggered       The proper initial placement for a single individual. First name initial, middle name initial and last name initial. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #7 - Old English        Single lettering initial with leaf work around the Old English letter - Choice of wreath design or pedal leaf design - you must list which leaf work prefered with engraving info When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #8 - Old English Single Letter only - No leaf work Can not engrave more than one letter due to the different shapes and sizes of Old English letters. When submitting your order, your initials must be placed in the order that they will appear on the glass for this monogram style.

Style #9 - Name Angled Upward       First or last name angled up to 12 letters on one line. First letter in Old English Style with leaf work above and below name. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #10 - Name Angled Upward       First name or last name on angle up to 12 letters on one line with first letter in Old English Style with no leaf work. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #11 - Name Angled Upward       First name or last name on angle up to 12 letters on one line with leaf work above and below name. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #12 - Name Angled Upward        First or last name on angle with up to 12 letters on one line with no leaf work. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #13 - Name Straight Across        First or last name straight across with up to 12 letters on one line with leaf work under name. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #14 - Name Straight Across        First or last name straight across plain with no leaf work. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.

Style #15 - Name Straight Across       First or last name straight across with up to 12 letters on one line. First letter in Old English Style with leaf work under name. Add date or 2nd line of text under name for $3.50 additional.
